The REALTORS Association of Edmonton held its annual housing forecast last week at the Edmonton Shaw Conference Centre. We had an informative morning kicked off by Past Chair, James Mabey with the 2017 Year in Review. New Board of Directors Chair, Darcy Torhjelm, shared the MLS® System Forecast for 2018. John Rose, Chief Economist for the City of Edmonton gave us an update on the Edmonton Economic Health. CMHC Senior Market Analyst, Brent Weimer presented a Regional Housing Analysis. An Economic Outlook was given by BMO Financial Group Chief Economist & Managining Director, Doug Porter, and ending the morning was the World-Renowned Economist, Academic and Public Policy Analyst, Dr. Jack Mintz sharing his outlooks on the Alberta Economy.
