Hi! I'm Karen, here to make things simple for you and go the extra mile so you can shop for your dream home with confidence.

I am a licensed mortgage broker based in St. Albert serving clients across Alberta and throughout Canada. Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, renewing your mortgage, needing secured lines of credit, or looking into investment properties, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. With over 9 years of experience helping clients achieve their financial goals and, prior to that, having a background in the new home industry, I bring a unique perspective on real estate to my mortgage brokering practice.

My love for helping clients realize the dream of home ownership stems from childhood, as I grew up with both parents and brothers immersed in the home industry. Before deciding to move towards a career in the mortgage brokering space, I worked with my Dad who inspired in me a deep appreciation for the home-buying journey.

Buying a home is one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make, and my goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I focus on educating my clients, so they feel confident and empowered throughout the process. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping my clients turn their dreams into reality!


At home, my husband and I have been happily married for over 25 years, raising two amazing boys who are now in their 20s. Rounding out our family is Charlie, our Teacup Yorkie, who adds a bit of "terrier spice" to our household! In our spare time, my husband and I love to travel. When we do, you will find us eating at whatever amazing restaurants we can find – we love food!


In my earlier career in new home sales, I was honoured to receive the Rookie of the Year award. This passion for success carried over into the mortgage industry, where I won Best Newcomer in the 2018 Canadian Mortgage Awards. Today, I am a member of the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association, Mortgage Professionals Canada, and the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce.

I love being involved with my community as much as I can, from supporting sports teams (such as the Junior Lacrosse team in St. Albert and a club soccer team in Edmonton), to donating to Autism Edmonton at their annual gala and auction event. For many years, I have worked with some local schools to curate Christmas hampers for families in need. I was also involved with Outloud St. Albert for the Rainbow Crosswalk initiative in front of city hall. I love living in St. Albert!
